Two of the most notable major league baseball players to have ever been banished from the game of baseball are Shoeless Joe Jackson and Pete Rose. But did you know there are actually over 40 players that have been banished? Now, not all players were permanently banned as some managed to get reinstated. Others, however, remain banished to this day. Nonetheless, many of their stories that lead them to becoming banished are quite intriguing, some highly controversial, and even a few will leave you shaking you head in disbelief.
So, on this week’s episode (which is Part 2 of a 2-part series), we’re going to take a walk-through baseball history and tell you a little something about each of the players who have been temporarily or permanently banished from major league baseball.
