On this week’s episode, we’re traveling to Steubenville that’s near the Ohio River and West Virginia boarder to visit The Steubenville Nutcracker Village. More than 200 life-sized nutcrackers are spread-out over the historic downtown area. It’s boasted as the largest collection of life-sized nutcrackers in the world.
Many depict people that you may see around your neighborhood such as a fire fighter or a nurse, others may represent local heroes such General Baron Friedrich Wilhelm Von Steuben for whom the city is named after, and still others portray some celebrities you may have heard of such as Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Jr., Jimmy Stewart, Karolyn Grimes, Shirley Temples, Judy Garland, and more!
